Frances Sumner McCabe, 74, a homemaker, died Oct. 10, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mrs. McCabe was born in Portsmouth and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Winfred ``Biggie'' McCabe; two daughters, Sandra M. Burton and Bonnie G. Bennett, both of Portsmouth; two brothers, O.C. Sumner of Blanket, Texas, and John P. Sumner Jr. of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Gary H. McClenney. The family will receive friends at the residence from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
