LLOYD V. GILDOW

Lloyd V. Gildow, 70, of the 4500 block of Abbey Court, died Oct. 10, 1994, in Sentara Bayside Hospital.

Mr. Gildow was born in Washington state and was a Protestant. He was retired as a supervisor from Thrifty Rent-a-Car after 15 years of service. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Louise K. Gildow; a daughter, Frances Yenter of Washington state; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Darleen Gildow of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Dorothy Cohn and Virginia Posenjack, and a brother, Herbert Gildow, all of Washington state; and grandchildren, Dawn Cornwell, Samantha and Dana Gildow, all of Virginia Beach. He was preceded in death by a son, Eugene Schuyler.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Princess Anne Memorial Park by the Rev. Warren Wilson. The family will receive friends at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
