Felix H. Szymanski, 64, of the 300 block of Hertz Road, a retired truck driver, died Oct. 9, 1994, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Szymanski, a native of Chesapeake, was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Chesapeake. He was retired from Nu-Car Carriers after 40 years, and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia Jane Szymanski of Chesapeake; two sons, Gary Szymanski of Chesapeake and Donald Szymanski of North Carolina; five sisters, Lottie Trush, Mary Sumner and Florence Shemenski, all of Chesapeake, Amelia Griffiths of San Diego, Calif., and Lucy McGuinn of Suffolk; three brothers, Joseph Szymanski, Julius Szymanski and Bernard Szymanski, all of Chesapeake; and two grandchildren, Sarah and Justin; and a companion, June Harrison.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Chesapeake, by Father Charles J. Faul. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
