TONIGHT at 8, some 25 Miami City Ballet dancers will gracefully bound onto the stage at Norfolk's Chrysler Hall. Directed by the celebrated dancer Edward Villella, the company will perform a full evening of works by George Balanchine.
On the bill are ``Tarantella,'' based on Italian folk dance; ``The Four Temperaments''; the Japanese-inspired ``Bagaku''; and the dreamlike ``Serenade'' to Tchaikovsky's music.
The Virginia Symphony, led by associate conductor Andrew Sills, will accompany the troupe, which last performed here in April 1993. Tickets to the show range from $22 to $45. Call the symphony box office at 623-2310. ILLUSTRATION: GEORGE SCHIAVONE
