Lillie Randolph McFerron of Norfolk, Va., died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 1994 in Norfolk from an extended illness.
She was born in Pitt County, N.C., on Feb. 22, 1917. She moved to Norfolk at a young age where she lived until she married the late John A. McFerron, LCDR,(Ret). They returned to Norfolk upon retiring from naval service in 1957. She is survived by a daughter, Alfreda M. Weiss of Fair Oaks, Calif., and a son, Donald J. McFerron of Norfolk, Va. She is also survived by four grandchildren, three grandsons and a granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 14, 1994, at 11 a.m. in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach, Va. The family will receive friends in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
