Herman V. Holley, 93, of the 500 block of King Drive, died Oct. 11, 1994, in a hospital.
Mr. Holley was born in Tyner, N.C. He was a member of the First African Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge & Shriners.
Survivors include his wife, Areatha Holley; a niece and nephew, Marian H. Deane and George A. Hunt Sr., both of Portsmouth; and several other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church by the Rev. Curtis E. Edmonds. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Fisher Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is handling arrangements. The family will be at 2301 Richmond Ave., Portsmouth.
