Phyllis Verena Nelson, 41, of the 1200 block of Hillside Ave., an electronics technician, died Oct. 11, 1994, in Norfolk.
She was born in Ironton, Ohio.
Survivors include her husband, Joel Nelson; a daughter, Nenomisha Nelson of Norfolk; and a son, Joel Q. Nelson of Norfolk. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elisah and Alice Peyton.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Anthony Moses. Burial will be private.
