Cecil A. Nalls Jr., 72, of Beverly Ave., a retired insurance agent, died Oct. 12, 1994, in his residence.
Mr. Nalls was born in Norfolk and retired from State Farm Insurance Co. after 39 years. He was an official board member of Ghent United Methodist Church and a member of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Singing in America. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Agnes T. Nalls; one daughter, Elaine N. Bell of Duncanville, Texas; a son, Dr. C. Arthur Nalls III of Richmond; one sister, Christine N. Curfman of San Jose, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Christopher Nalls of Buffalo, N.C. and Brian Nalls of Richmond.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Harold E. Thornton. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
