The Advisory Committee of the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island gained two new members this week. Seven current members of the 13-seat board also were reappointed.
New members are Ken Mann of Wanchese and Richard Denton of Manteo.
Mann is a Dare County native who is owner-operator of WNHW Radio in Nags Head. Denton is manager of Carolina Telephone operations on the Outer Banks.
Reappointed members include: William C. ``Bill'' Meekins of Elizabeth City, Maxine Britt of Edenton, Frances Voliva of Columbia, Naomi Hester of Manteo, Michael Halminski of Waves and M.E. ``Buddy'' Lowry of Kill Devil Hills.
Also serving on the committee are John Hughes of Manteo, Jack Neighbors of Kitty Hawk and Gerald D. Perry of Harbinger. by CNB
