Sen. John W. Warner, R-Va., left Wednesday with Defense Secretary William J. Perry on a globe-trotting trip that will take them first to Kuwait to assess the latest developments there as the crisis with Iraq continues.
Warner, in Norfolk on Wednesday to address the 16th annual Military Appreciation Luncheon, said he was invited by Perry late Tuesday to accompany him on the trip, which also will take them to China, the Philippines and Hawaii. by CNB
