B. Ross Young Sr., 62, of the 4400 block of Delray Drive, died Oct. 13, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Young was born in Beckley, W.Va., and was the retired owner of Young's Auto Upholstery. He was a member of Bayside Baptist Church, Bayside Masonic Lodge (NU)218, AF & AM, Norfolk Scottish Rite Bodies and Khedive Temple of the Shrine.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Carter Young; two daughters, Karen Y. Quinn of Chesapeake and Patricia Y. O'Brien of Virginia Beach; a son, Billy R. Young Jr. of Virginia Beach; his mother, Ida G. Young of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Betty Y. Wills and Ida Jane Curfman both of Virginia Beach; three brothers, Albert Young of Norfolk, A Raymond Young of Virginia Beach and Vernon Young of Chesapeake; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. Paul S. Carter. Entombment will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
