A headline in Thursday's paper incorrectly said a teenager who
pleaded guilty to shooting a pizza delivery man had admitted to the
shooting. The teenager, Curtis Brandon, entered what is called an
Alford plea, which allows a defendant to plead guilty while
maintaining innocence. In an Alford plea, the defendant pleads
guilty because the evidence is overwhelming.
