James L. Hoffman of the 1300 block of Linkhorn Circle, died Thursday morning.
Jimmy, as everyone knew him, was a highly respected electrical contractor and friend in the Hampton Roads area.
He is survived by his closest friend and confidant, Jean Douthett. Also surviving are Martha, Chuck, Tip, Steve and Debbie Hoffman, Bill Hoffman Sr., JoAnn Marrs, David, Kenny and Lori Douthett. Grandchildren include Justin, Jackie and James Hoffman.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in Scott Memorial United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
