AMY M. DAYTON

Amy M. ``Granny'' Dayton died in her home in Cocoa on Oct. 13, 1994. She was 103.

She was born June 8, 1891. She taught school in Wheeling, W.Va., and also taught at Busy Bee Kindergarten and Nursery in Portsmouth.

She was the widow of James Dayton and was predeceased by a son, James ``Jack'' Dayton. She is survived by two daughters, Eileen Kalkreuth of Portsmouth and Grace Ann Faulkner of Cocoa, Fla.; a son, Samuel U. Dayton of Portsmouth. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held in Cocoa, Fla., at 6:30 p.m. today.
