MABLE SCOTT

Mable Scott of the 1000 block of Johnstons Road, a retired domestic worker, died Oct. 13, 1994, in a local hospital.

She was born in Norfolk and was a member of Oakwood Chapel.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Robinson of Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Mary Smith and Fannie Spratley, both of Norfolk; six brothers, Robert J. Smith, Herbert L. Smith, Albert J.H. Smith, William L. Smith, Roland S. Smith, all of Norfolk, and Fred C. Smith of Virginia Beach; a grandchild, Yvonne Burke of Norfolk, and four other grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Oakwood Chapel by the Rev. C.N. White. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the residence. The body will be taken to church at 10 a.m. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
