First-graders at Arrowhead Elementary School recently held a Truck
Festival, where trucks from the community, including fire trucks,
delivery trucks and flatbeds, were on display for the students to
observe. The event - one of several truck-related activities in the
city's schools this fall - was held in conjunction with a unit of
study on vehicles and transportation. At right, Steve Painter gets a
lift into a Navy ambulance attached to the USS Gunston Hall.
