ALICE T. LEWIS

Alice Tucker Lewis, 89, of Yorktown Drive died Oct. 14, 1994, in her residence.

Mrs. Lewis was born in Woolridge, Tenn. She was a retired teacher in the Norfolk and West Virginia public school systems and was the widow of Bennie Palmer Lewis.

Survivors include two nieces, Betty P. Pasco of Norfolk and L. Patricia McIntyre of Nashville, Tenn.; and six nephews, Richard L. Perkins and Tom T. Perkins, both of Tyler, Texas, Larry Jarrett of Wheaton, Md., Leslie Jarrett, Jr. of Logan, W.Va., Beverly ``Peb'' Jarrett of Snohomish, Wash., and Elijah K. Tucker of Austin, Texas.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Montevista Cemetery, Bluefield, W.Va. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or CHKD, P.O. Box 2156, Norfolk, Va. 23501-2156 c/o Children's Cancer Fund.
