EXECUTIVE TRACK

HEALTH CARE

Dr. Deborah Wilson has joined the ophthalmology practice of Dr. Fredric Gross in the Medical Tower in Norfolk. Wilson completed her residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine's Montefiore Center in New York. She will also serve on the medical staff of DePaul Medical Center, Maryview Medical Center, Sentara Leigh, Sentara Norfolk General, Sentara Hampton General and with the ophthalmology department at Eastern Virginia Medical School.

The practice also operates offices on Kempsville Road in Norfolk, Hampton and Suffolk.

Dr. Wendy Treece was appointed program medical director for the adolescent in-patient/partial programs with Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center. Treece is a private practice psychiatrist with Norfolk Psychiatric Associates.

Patsy Monk was appointed director of medical support for Patient First at the General Booth Boulevard Center in Virginia Beach. Monk has been a registered nurse with Patient First, with more than 20 years of nursing experience in critical care, burn unit, intensive care unit and general medical/surgical nursing.

Ann Horchler was appointed director of rehabilitation services with Chesapeake General Hospital. For the past 16 years, Horchler has held the same position with Sentara Leigh Hospital.

LAW

Kyle C. Johnson was appointed an associate with Kaufman & Canoles. He will practice in the law firm's commercial section in Norfolk. Johnson holds a master of arts degree, and recently graduated from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary.

Martha E. Drum was appointed an associate with Williams Kelly & Greer in Norfolk. Her practice will be in general civil litigation. Drum is a recent graduate of the Washington and Lee University School of Law.

Lawrence W. I'Anson III was appointed an associate with the law firm of Bangel, Bangel & Bangel in Portsmouth. He will specialize in personal injury litigation. I'Anson received his law degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary. He clerked for U.S. Court of Appeals Judge Richard S. Bray.

MID-ATLANTIC

Michael ``Ted'' Waroblak, 53, was named president and chief executive officer of Charlottesville's Institute of Textile Technology after 29 years as a chemist and manager with DuPont. He replaces Charles G. Tewksbury, who has been with the institute since 1973.

ORGANIZATIONS

Bob Gill was elected president of the National Association of Consumer Protection Investigators. Gill is coordinator of consumer affairs with the city of Norfolk.

Arlene C. Spring was elected president of the National Association of Women in Construction. Spring is with the Builders & Contractors Exchange.

The National Association for Membership Development elected Lin J. Smith president. The association provides information, professional development and management resources to professionals who manage membership-based operations for their organizations. Smith is vice president of marketing with the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce.

The Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives named Ira Agricola president. Agricola is senior vice president of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce.

TRANSPORTATION

George S. Hrichak was appointed director of maintenance with the Peninsula Transportation District Commission in Hampton. Hrichak retired from the Army where he served in maintenance management and as a maintenance test pilot. MEMO: Executive Track reports executive and management changes.
