Claude Washington Whitehurst, 93, of the 4000 block of Chesswood Drive, a retired produce manager, died Oct. 15, 1994, in his residence.
Mr. Whitehurst was born in Pungo, Va. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include a daughter, Geraldine L. Bonnette of Holiday, Fla.; two sons, Claude W. Whitehurst Jr. of Richmond and Marshall E. Whitehurst of Quincy, Mass.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
