Michael Albert Holloway, an industrial arts teacher, died Friday, Oct. 14, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mr. Holloway was born in Portsmouth and was the son of the late Ralph B. Sr. and Olive Nicholson Holloway. He was employed with Chesapeake Public Schools for 14 years. He was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church and the choir. He was a graduate of Norfolk State University and had done graduate studies at Old Dominion University.
Survivors include three sisters, Maria H. Morse of South Hill, Rita L. Holloway of Maryland and Renee H. Smith of Colorado; and a brother, Ralph B. Holloway Jr. of Maryland.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in New Calvary Baptist Church, 800 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., by the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. in Riddick Funeral Service. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
