CLAIRE C. CORNELL

Claire Cowell Cornell, 86, of Jacksonville, N.C., died Oct. 16 at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Infant of Prague Catholic Church in Jacksonville.

Survivors include two sons, Darrell Cornell of Orlando, Fla., and Robert Cornell of Jacksonville, N.C.; a daughter, Sherry Chereskin of Norfolk; a sister, Isabella Sandham of Portsmouth, R.I.; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jacksonville Beautification Commission, Jacksonville City Hall, P.O. Box 128, Jacksonville, N.C. 28540 in her memory. Arrangements by Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville, N.C.
