ROBERT JEFFERSON

Robert ``Zeke'' Jefferson, 60, of the 200 block of W. 149th St., a self-employed carpenter, died Oct. 14, 1994, in North General Hospital, New York.

Mr. Jefferson was born in Norfolk County and was a Parson. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Earlene Harrell Jefferson; a daughter, Aneta Jefferson; and two sons, Keith Jefferson and Antwon Jefferson, all of New York; seven sisters, Mary Nora Wilson of Portsmouth, Laura L. Jefferson of New York, Flossie Butler of Chesapeake, Dorothy Leggett of Washington, D.C., Elizabeth Gooden of Newport News, Shirley Simons of Alexandria and Barbara Royster of Suffolk; two brothers, Williby Jefferson and the Rev. Henry E. Jefferson, both of Chesapeake; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in St. Mark AME Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Arthur Mae Lawson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. A wake will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today. The family will receive friends at 1724 S. Battlefield Blvd., Chesapeake. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
