Alberta Scott Roberts of Route 1, a retired self-employed farmer, died Friday, Oct. 14, 1994, in Britthaven Nursing Home.
Mrs. Roberts, a native of Southampton County, Va., was the daughter of the late William T. Scott and Roberta Hill Scott and the widow of Joseph Roberts. She was a member of Warren Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Edenton.
Survivors include three nieces, Virginia Artis of Courtland, Va., Eunice Hicks of Baltimore, Joann Allen of Brooklyn, N.Y.
A funeral will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. today in Warren Grove Missionary Baptist Church by the Rev. Mills. Burial will be in the Roberts Family Cemetery, Edenton. The family will assemble in the home of Mrs. Virginia Artis, 25001 Old Bridge Road, Courtland, at 8 a.m. Remains will be viewed in church at 11 a.m. William M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, Va., is handling arrangements.
