Anne Bagnell Jones, 84, of the 200 block of W. Constance Road, died Oct. 17, 1994, in a Suffolk hospital.
Mrs. Jones was a native of Suffolk and the daughter of the late Elisha Lee and Louise Munford Everett.
She taught in the Nansemond County Public School System for over 40 years and in 1960 was honored as Teacher of the Year of Nansemond County. She was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Jones was predeceased by her husband, Edward Carl Bagnell, and was the widow of Gordon Wise Jones.
Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Lee Bagnell; a son, Edward Everett Bagnell, and his wife, Nita, all of Suffolk; four grandchildren, Anne Cox Bagnell, Molly Everett Bagnell, J. Elizabeth Bagnell and Edward Everett Bagnell Jr.; one sister, Russell Everett Brothers of Franklin. She was predeceased by five half-sisters and a brother.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in Mount Zion Cemetery by the Rev. Carl Lemon.
Memorial donations may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
The family will be at 612 N. Broad Street and 8905 Eclipse Drive.
