David Lee Jackson, 47, died Oct. 17, 1994, in Portsmouth.
Mr. Jackson was born in Sand Springs, Okla., and was a Methodist. He was retired as a RMCS in the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service. He was employed as a project engineer with Seacor Co. for five years.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Jackson; a daughter, Lisa Kay Cunningham of Dallas; a brother, James London of Tulsa, Okla.; two granddaughters, Victoria Cunningham and Samantha Cunningham, both of Dallas; and an uncle, Charles Hardcastle of Sand Springs, Okla.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Leon Hargrove. Private burial will be at a later date. The family will be at the funeral home from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday.
