BETTIE B. WILLIAMS

Bettie B. ``Bea'' Williams of the 900 block of Wilson Road, a retired domestic worker, died Oct. 17, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mrs. Williams was born in Idrell, N.C. She was a member of St. Mark United Church of Christ, the Missionary Board and Pastor's Aide.

Survivors include a daughter, Lizzie M. Williams of Norfolk; four sisters, Julia Morrison of Harrisburg, Pa., Essie Stinson of Statesville, N.C., Ruth Johnson and Mary Ellen Arrington, both of Norfolk; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in St. Mark United Church of Christ, Norfolk, by the Rev. Thomas J. Hart. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. The body will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. today. The family will assemble at 851 Townsend Place at 11 a.m. Thursday for the processional. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
