TEEN CHARGED IN SEVERAL CRIMES RECEIVES 30 YEARS IN ROBBERY

Curtis Brandon, charged in several robberies of pizza deliverymen, was sentenced to 30 years Tuesday for the robbery of Pizza Hut deliveryman David J. Pricenski, 26.

Brandon, who turned 17 Tuesday, was sentenced Monday to 53 years for shooting deliveryman James Murray in the heart after he took too long to hand over his wallet.

Another trial involving Brandon, in which another pizza deliveryman was robbed, had been scheduled for Tuesday, but was postponed until December.

Judge Jerome B. Friedman determined that publicity about the case would make jury selection difficult. Brandon still faces added charges in juvenile court in the robbery of a cab driver.
