Virginia Hill Cobb, 86, of Spirers Road, a homemaker, died Oct. 18, 1994, in Roanoke Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.
Mrs. Cobb was born in Como and was a member of Buckhorn Baptist Church, where she was active in the Women's Missionary Union.
Survivors include two daughters, Virginia C. Semancik of Spruce Head, Maine, and Ann C. Hines of Newport News; a son, Edward Cobb of Virginia Beach; a brother, Edward Hill of Murfreesboro; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Buckhorn Baptist Church by the Rev. Ray Craig. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home. Memorial donations may be made to the Como Rescue Squad, Como, N.C. 27818. Garrett Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, is handling arrangements.
