Bertha Craig of the 3700 block of Colley Ave., a homemaker, died Oct. 15, 1994, in Hillhaven Nursing Home.
Mrs. Craig was born in Windsor, N.C., and was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in North Carolina.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Craig; a son, Fred Louis Bond Jr. of Newark, N.J.; two sisters, Alice Craig and Della Swain, both of Windsor, N.C.; a brother, Charlie Bond of Windsor, N.C.; and six grandchildren, Freddie, Kim, Paulette, Troy, Bondbonderlia and Laprish Bond, all of Newark.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Mount Aire Apostolic Holiness Church, Windsor, N.C., by Elder James Swain. Burial will be in St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery, Windsor, N.C. The body will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Friday. The processional will leave Norfolk at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
