Irene Jones, of the 2900 block of Kimball Terrace, died Oct. 16, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. Jones was born Norfolk. She had retired from the Portsmouth Shipyard after 10 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Crestwood.
Survivors include two daughters, Tenesha Jones and Tammy Jones; three sons, Deangelo Robinson, Daryl Jones and Gary Robinson; three sisters, Julia Robinson, Geraldine Robinson and Shirley Jackson; two brothers, Zero Robinson Jr. and Theodore Robinson; two grandchildren; a fiancee, Leroy Jordan; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Bethany Baptist Church by the Rev. Jake Manley. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
