Willie Mae ``Bea'' Bailey, 68, of the 1000 block of Anderson St., a retired waitress, died Oct. 17, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Bailey was born in Hyde County, N.C. She was the widow of Broady Bailey and was a former member of Antioch Baptist Church. She had retired from Alexander Restaurant after 20 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Irene C. Holloway and Clifton Holloway.
Survivors include four daughters, Del-Rio Lewis, Delphine Harper and Lisa Crawford, all of Norfolk and Sharon Holloway of Wilmington, Calif.; six sons, Maurice Holloway, Curtis Bailey, Anthony Bailey, Dexter Bailey, Dwayne Bailey and Frank Bailey, all of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Millicent Venerable of Norfolk and Mrs. Bernice Wheaton of Dayton, Ohio; 22 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. T.E. Cooke-Twilight Funeral Home, Suffolk, is handling arrangements. There will be visitation Thursday evening at Hale Funeral Home from 6 to 7 p.m. Family and friends will assemble at 1018 Galt St., Norfolk, at noon for the procession to the chapel.
