Joseph William Cruz, 66, of the 2300 block of Elaine Ave., a retired electrician and elevator mechanic, died Oct. 18, 1994, in his residence.
Mr. Cruz was born in Detroit and was a Catholic. He was a member of IBEW Local (NU)3, Flushing, N.Y.
Survivors include two daughters, Josephine Lillian Alvarado of Flushing, N.Y., and Rosemarie Santiago of Bronx, N.Y.; a brother, Louis A. Cruz of Norfolk; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday. The body will be sent to Walter B. Cooke Funeral Home, Bronx, N.Y., for services and burial.
