Donna Jean Jochens, 61, of the 2200 block of Wildwood Road, a homemaker, died Oct. 20, 1994, in Portsmouth.
Mrs. Jochens was born in Lake Orion, Mich. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Chesapeake, Tidewater Temple (NU)35 Pythian Sisters, Nomads of Avradaka and served as Grand Chief of the Grand Jurisdiction of Virginia 1992.
Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Jochens, Jr.; a daughter, Deborah J. Hand and two sons, Robert J. Jochens, III, and Jeffrey W. Jochens, all of Chesapeake; two sisters, Doris Thomas of Lake Orion, Mich., and Mary Jane Hill of Romeo, Mich.; and three grandchildren, Stephanie M. Hand, Rachel S. Hand and Amanda Jean Hand, all of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, by the Rev. Allen L. Dooley. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
