Eleanor Mae Atkins, 80, of the 700 block of Oak Grove Road, died Tuesday at her residence.
Ms. Atkins was born in Paterson, N.J. She had been employed as a nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital, Paterson, N.J. She was a graduate of Bergen Pines School of Nursing in Paramus, N.J.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Jane Atkins of Moyock, N.C.; her son, David Earl Atkins of Toms River, N.J.; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; four nephews; and two nieces.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Moyock Baptist Church by the Rev. Vic Ramsey. Burial will be in Moreland Memorial Park.
There will be no public viewing. Oman Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
