nVIEW Corp., the Newport News-based manufacturer of computer and video projection equipment, reported third-quarter earnings of $924,000, or 19 cents per share. That compares to a loss of $416,000, or 8 cents per share, in the same period in 1993. Most of the quarter's profits are from a $550,000 insurance reimbursement. The funds cover legal expenses that nVIEW paid to fight a shareholder lawsuit. For the third quarter ended Sept. 30, sales were $8.5 million, up from $8.2 million in the year-earlier period. by CNB
