Helen Spruill Ganley, 65, of the 800 block of Hunting Hill Lane, a homemaker, died Oct. 21, 1994 in her residence.
Mrs. Ganley was born in Edenton, N.C., married 46 years and was a Methodist.
Survivors include her husband, James J. Ganley, Jr.; three daughters, Lola D. Walker, Jackuelyn L. Gilbert of Virginia Beach and Amanda G. Vanderborgt of Tennessee; three sons, Vincent K. Ganley of Texas, John H. Ganley of Roanoke, Va., and Michael J. Ganley of Buchanan, Va.; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of beloved friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Warren Wilson. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
