Ann Mary McNamara, 64, of Mayflower Seaside Towers, a retired teacher, died Oct. 21, 1994, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
She was born in Pelham, N.Y. She retired from the Virginia Beach city public school system after 39 years and was a member of Church of the Holy Family and the Virginia Beach Education Association. She was recently honored by students, teachers, friends and family. ``Miss. Mac'' touched and enriched the lives of many children and parents throughout her long career. True to her spirit of giving, she will continue to do so as an organ donor.
She is survived by loving family and friends.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Monday at Church of the Holy Family on Great Neck Road. Burial will be private at a later date. Hollomo-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Kings Grant PTA for the ``Ann McNamara Scholarship Fund.''
