Zoe A. Dimitriou, 96, a homemaker formerly of Norfolk, died Oct. 23, 1994, in Huntington Hosptial in Suffolk, N.Y.
She was a native of Larnaca, Cyprus, and was a widow of Thales Dimitriou. She had recieved the mother of the year award from St. Paraskivi Church.
She is survived by her son, George Dimitriou and his wife, Vivian; one daughter, Xenia Dimitriou Hill and her husband, Herman; one sister, Adela Pilavachi of Limassol, Cyprus; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren; and one nephew and his wife, Steve and Jane Steele.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Greek Orthodox Church-Annunciation by the Rev. Constantine Rogakos. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A Trisagion prayer service will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greek Orthodox Church-Annunciation, Building Fund, 7220 Granby St., Norfolk, Va. 23505.
