Evalyn V. Davis, 77, a homemaker, died Oct. 23, 1994.
She was born in Springfield, Mass., and was a widow of Osborn S. Davis. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion (NU)327, and the Fleet Reserve Branch (NU)60.
Survivors include three daughters, Harriet M. West of Chesapeake, Sharon L. Jones of Norfolk and Roberta L. Harris of Norfolk; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Lou Ruoff. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. and at 3314 Dunkirk Ave., Norfolk, at other times. Donations may be made to the Norfolk SPCA.
