Ronald Craig Sanders, of the 5500 block of Quarterpath Gate, died Oct. 20, 1994, in Sentara Bayside Hospital.
Mr. Sanders was born in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He had retired from the Navy. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jostine Sanders; a son, Sean Marcus Sanders of Virginia Beach; his parents, Barbara Sanders and Hardee Sanders of Grand Prairie, Texas; four sisters, Sharon Haynes of Duncanville, Texas, and Debra Lawrence and Shawna Sanders, both of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Phyllis Gilchrist of Charleston, S.C.; a brother, Ricky Sanders of Long Beach, Calif.; and a maternal grandmother, Geraldine Eley of Long Beach, Calif.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in Ebenezer Baptist Church by the Rev. C.K. Jones. Burial will be in Hampton National Cemetery. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. The family will assemble at the residence at 11 a.m. for the processional. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m.
