Police are searching for a 32-year-old woman who disappeared nearly two weeks ago under mysterious circumstances.
Police said someone had threatened the life of Leezette Zoe Harris, who was last seen Oct. 13. Detectives don't know if there is a connection between the threat and Harris' disappearance.
Family members of Harris, who lives in the 500 block of South Rosemont Road, told police they have seen her yellow Cadillac sedan in Norfolk and Chesapeake since her disappearance, but a man they didn't know was driving. Harris wasn't in the car.
Harris, a 5-foot-5 black woman who weighs 140 pounds, was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt with a purple design, and purple tights. She has black hair, brown eyes and pierced ears.
Her 1979 Cadillac bears the license ZTU-2440.
Anyone with information about Harris is asked to call Crime Solvers at 427-0000, or detective Dennis Brown at 427-4101. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
