Kenneth W. Glover faces five criminal charges for allegedly

abducting one female high-school student, trying to abduct another,

and exposing himself to two people. A MetroNews story Friday

incorrectly stated the charges were only for the alleged abduction

and attempted abduction.

Bryce Jacobs was shown in a photo Saturday with a MetroNews story

on child-care providers. His first name was wrong in the caption.

The agenda for tonight's meeting of the Chesapeake City Council,

published in Sunday's Clipper community news section, failed to

mention that it includes citizens' comments on non-agenda items and

committee reports.

First Colony Coffee and Tea Co. has a coffee house at 21st Street

and Colonial Avenue in Norfolk. A Daily Break article Friday had the

wrong street.

Actor Kirk Douglas was born and grew up in Amsterdam, N.Y. A

story about Burt Lancaster in Monday's Daily Break had the wrong

hometown for Douglas. Also, a photo showing the two men in later

years came from the movie ``Tough Guys,'' not ``Atlantic City.''

The 1927 movie ``The Jazz Singer,'' starring Al Jolson, is

considered the first important sound motion picture. A story in

Saturday's Daily Break about the 1925 movie ``The Phantom of the

Opera'' erroneously identified Eddie Cantor as the first actor to

speak on screen.

Warren Beatty and Annette Bening have two children, a daughter

and an infant son - not an infant daughter, as stated in a Daily

Break story Saturday.
