Mary Madeline Kohlhoff, 65, died Oct. 25, 1994, in Virginia Beach after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Kohlhoff was born in Newport, R.I. She retired from the Virginia Beach city public school system as a cafeteria worker at Shelton Park Elementary. She was a member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church and the religious education program for 20 years at the church. She was active in the Club Scouts and Aragona-Pembroke Little League and was a Marine veteran during the Korean War.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur A. Kohlhoff; a daughter, Elizabeth M. Kohlhoff; three sons, Arthur V. Kohlhoff, Paul C. Kohlhoff and Carl W. Kohlhoff; and a grandson, Anthony A. Kohlhoff, all of Virginia Beach.
A memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Gregory's Catholic Church by Father Luke Policicchio. Burial will be in Christopher Columbus Cemetery, Newport, R.I., at a later date. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is handling arrangements. It is the family's wishes that in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Gregory's the Great School Endowment Fund in her name.
