`CINDERELLA' OPENS FRIDAY

Six performers from Suffolk are part of the cast of the Rodgers-Hammerstein musical version of ``Cinderella,'' opening Friday at the Pavilion in Virginia Beach.

Four of the performers are members of the Chambers family, including mom, Virginia, owner of the Fine Arts Center.

Her three daughters - Jennifer, Ashley and Maggie - also will appear, as will Abby Atkins and Courtney Pollard.

The play is directed by Hugh Copeland. Polly Martin is the musical director and orchestra conductor.

``Cinderella'' boasts a cast of 47 including theater, film and television professionals.

Songs include ``In My Own Little Corner'' ``Impossible'' and, perhaps the most familiar, ``Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful?'' MEMO: The Hurrah Players present ``Cinderella'' at the Virginia Beach Pavilion

at 7 p.m. Friday and Friday, Nov. 4, and at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
