Jesse T. Winfield Sr., of the 6500 block of Wailes Ave., died Oct. 24, 1994.
Mr. Winfield was born in Princess Anne County. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and the deacon board.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude J. Winfield of Norfolk; a son, Jesse T. Winfield Jr. of Florida; a grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Ebenezer Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. C.K. Jones. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
