YNC Casimir John ``Cass'' Michalski Jr., 61, of the 1500 block of Campostella Road, died Oct. 25, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mr. Michalski was born in Albany, N.Y. He retired from the U.S. Navy in 1974 after 21 years and was a Roman Catholic. He was past master of Midday Masonic Lodge (NU)132, A.F. & A.M.; and a member of Port Norfolk Royal Arch Chapter, Portsmouth Scottish Rite Bodies, Police Association of Virginia, Fraternal Order of Police and the American Legion. He was a Navy veteran of Korea and Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Gagne Michalski; two sons, N. David Michalski and George C. Michalski, both of Chesapeake; a brother, John Michalski of Albany, N.Y.; and four grandchildren, Daniel Michalski, Darren Michalski, Melissa Michalski and Stephen Michalski, all of Chesapeake.
A graveside funeral with military honors and masonic rites will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Masonic Home of Virginia, Nine Mile Road, Richmond, Va.
