WHAT HAS a cast of 47 film, stage and TV professionals, a live orchestra, lavish costumes and sets PLUS a 24-foot-long pumpkin coach? The Hurrah Players' production of ``Cinderella'' going up tonight at 7 at the Virginia Beach Pavilion. The season-opener is the same version Rodgers and Hammerstein wrote for TV back in 1957. Julie Andrews originated the role, but most folks probably know it from the Lesley Anne Warren remake. At any rate, director Hugh Copeland is promising a spectacle and it sounds like he has the goods to deliver.
Additional performances: 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 7 p.m. next Friday, and 3 p.m. Nov. 5-6. Tickets: $9 and $11, group rates available. Call 623-7418.
Fairy-tale footnote: In case you haven't heard, ``Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,'' the one film the Disney folks said would never go video, goes video today. Heigh ho, heigh ho, it's off to buy we go.

THERE'S NO BETTER place to escape trick-or-treaters than The Chrysler Museum, where Vienna's Franz Schubert String Quartet is visiting with works of Haydn, Shostakovich and Dvorak. The quartet, now in its 20th year, was the youngest ever to win the European Broadcasting Union's International String Quartet Competition.
Monday's performance is at 8 p.m. at The Chrysler Museum. At 6:30, Dwight Davis of WHRO will preview the concert and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Tickets are $14; students and music professionals get in for $5.
Tuesday's performance is at 8 p.m. at the Williamsburg Regional Library. For more information, call 498-9396.

THAT ``ENDLESS TOUR'' tag applied to Bob Dylan's seemingly nonstop travels since the late '80s is incorrect, he recently claimed. At any rate, a Dylan whose recent shows have been receiving raves everywhere from The New York Times to the Internet, returns to Virginia for a Tuesday concert at Chrysler Hall. Expect some surprise song choices - such as the great ``Jokerman'' - evidently inspired by the compilation of his forthcoming ``Greatest Hits Vol. 3.''
Bob Dylan, 8 p.m. Tuesday at Chrysler Hall. Tickets: $25-35; to order, call 671-8100. For more information, call 441-2161.
