Columnist Tony Snow uses the comparison of the gap in Lauren Hutton's teeth and the expectoration problem of Oliver North as a bum rap on North (Oct. 24). I don't think it has ever been reported that Hutton spits through her front teeth, lied to Congress 10 years ago or lies to the American public today.
Maybe it would be better to compare Oliver North to Richard Nixon, gap or no gap.
