Clara M. Brawner, 77, died Thursday, October 27, 1994, at DePaul Hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Gloria J. Carter and Grace C. Addison, both of Norfolk; three sons, David J. Carter of Glen Burnie, Md., and James D. Brawner Jr. of Summersville, S.C., Dennis V. Brawner of Norfolk; and 12 grandchildren.
A son, Russell E. Carter Jr., preceded his mother in death.
Mrs. Brawner has donated her body to medical science. The family will receive friends at the home of Grace C. Addison, 9503 Inwood Ct., Norfolk, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, October 28. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
