Thomas Lee Wilson, 43, of the 3100 block of Knox St., died Oct. 24, 1994, in Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth.
Mr. Wilson was a native of Nansemond County and a teacher in the Portsmouth school system. He was a member of Poplar Run Baptist Church, past president of the senior choir and secretary of the finance committee. He was a member of Sarah Tabernacle Lodge (NU)141 of Suffolk.
Survivors include his parents, Mrs. Berta Mae Wilson and Roosevelt Wilson Sr.; and two sisters, Darlene M. Wright and Mrs. Valerie A. Ricks, all of Suffolk; three brothers, Roosevelt Wilson Jr. of Hampton, Melvin Wilson of Portsmouth and Barry D. Wilson of Suffolk; four aunts; four uncles; three great-aunts; three sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Poplar Run Baptist Church, Suffolk, by the Rev. James Williams Jr. Burial will be in Poplar Run Baptist Church Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The body will be placed in the church at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
